High Reliability Power Distribution Transformer Project for Large Data Center

Modern data centers carry massive data storage and cloud computing tasks, requiring zero power failure, low electromagnetic interference and low operational noise. Conventional transformers often suffer from high noise, high heat generation and poor safety performance, which may affect server operation and indoor working environment. The client put forward extremely strict requirements: fireproof and explosion-proof structure, ultra-low no-load loss, stable voltage output to 400V, and 24-hour continuous safe operation. Indoor areas required oil-free and fire-safe equipment, while outdoor power distribution zones needed high-efficiency and weather-resistant transformers.

We provided a complete set of matching transformers for the data center’s power distribution system, including indoor dry-type transformers and outdoor oil-immersed transformers, all designed for stable step-down to 400V standard power supply. Adopting high-quality silicon steel core and optimized electromagnetic design, the products achieve extremely low energy loss and minimal vibration. Dry-type transformers are applied in indoor machine rooms with flame-retardant, oil-free and silent advantages. Oil-immersed transformers are deployed in outdoor independent power distribution areas to undertake long-term heavy-load power conversion. All products comply with IEC international safety standards and data center grade power supply specifications.

To meet the high-standard operation demands of data centers, we adopted differentiated targeted solutions. For indoor core machine rooms, we used high-performance cast resin dry-type transformers, featuring full fire resistance, zero oil leakage, low noise and low electromagnetic interference, ensuring safe and quiet indoor operation. For outdoor power distribution stations, we upgraded oil-immersed transformers with enhanced heat dissipation, anti-corrosion and rainproof structure to adapt to all-weather outdoor operation. We optimized the iron core lamination process to stabilize 400V voltage output and reduce long-term operating loss. Every unit passed strict partial discharge test, temperature rise test and 24-hour continuous load aging test before delivery. We also provided complete certification documents and professional remote technical support to guarantee long-term stable and fail-safe power supply for the data center.
